Divx is unbelievable. Rent a "classic??" like Conan the Barbarian for $4.49 plus $1.00 shipping for 48 hours. Subsequent rentals are $3.25.
divxdirect.com

Now this is the killer. Follow the link and you will see that the Divx version is Dolby digital mono, while the full DVD version is Dolby digital 5.1 surround sound. The Divx verison is pan & scan and the DVD version is widescreen.

You can rent the full DVD version for $4 from netflix.com -- and you can view it for 7 days and even loan it to your friends. And it has Dolby 5.1 surround sound.

There is something wrong with the Divx business model. I bet that the Divx resellers like the fact that Divx is competing with them for disc sales...

Unbelievable!!!!
