JLA, Look if you want to call someone a lady and they like it, fine. I live in the peoples republic of the bay area which is completely different from the military-minded SD. All the feminists are up here maybe thats the difference. In any case, surely you must agree that someone calling ME unladylike here, on this forum is kind of off base - no? After all arent I the thread feminist? So why would you think that kind of comment would phase me? I dont expect you people to think Im a "lady". Now in regards to answering the real questions, Im not quite sure what the real questions were.Aren't you guys were opposed to judging anyone? Why does that sort of comment not amount to pompous moralizing? Nope as I said earlier I used to try to take the high road with these people. I gave up on that yesterday because brees and Who Me, went a little far with me. So, I changed my approach and frankly it appears to be working. The ony thing these people can understand are obnoxious personal attacks. There are plenty of people on the other thread (Jim S) who are about the same and I think the way to deal with their insults is to come right back at them in kind. Coincedentally most of the really obnoxious people are also religious, so I see no reason not to attack them on their religious beliefs, and yes this amounts to pompous moralizing. Its kinda like running a clean campaign, you just cant do it if the other side is dirty. Re: Do I have a chip on my shoulder and am I unhappy? I am unhappy/tired because I stayed up all last night and am in a bad mood. With regards to the chip on my shoulder... no idea, what kind of chip? You mean an anti-religion chip? Yes like many liberals I suppose I do have that after this presidential mess - I consider Starr and the RR/Republicans the "enemy" as many here do. Michelle
