If you write one, please send me a copy quick!! Just kidding.

Regarding good books, though, I have read and personally recommend very highly "Trading for a Living" by Dr. Alexander Elder, and "Trading Rules" by William F. Eng. There are lots more, of course, but these two should be on any new trader's short list. Uh oh, there I go hyping again.

So, who else has some really neat favorites?

What is really needed is a trading book that specifically focuses on intraday equities trading, clearly outlines the do's and don't with lots of extremely detailed examples, and provides some proven and backtested strategies for intraday trading that a new trader can start off with - maybe I'll write one!

Dave, very well put! I agree. You write, I'll do. You follow me around every day recording my trading activity. Just reverse my trades and you have a sure winner!
