Al, We are selling the annuities of AAA life insurance cos. in order to DCA into the market in these very volatile times. It's hard to do with mutual funds (though not improbable), and it is one small way to hedge the market and yet continue to participate in it. There are still good stocks out there to buy right now and hold for the long term if you B & H. My point is, is that at this particular point and juncture in the market risk outweighs reward 2/1 IMHO. JT
