Paul,

I know investing styles differ, but puleeeeezzze, you can't ignore what's happening (or not). Nothing has changed since two months ago. Russia sucks, Japan hasn't moved and the rest of Asia is also locked in their respective death throes... Brazil is in serious danger -- and if it falls everyone agrees all of Latin America goes with it.

Now we're beginning to see pessimstic forecasts from Europe and the U.S., G, the blue chip, staunch manufacturer of products *everyone* needs, "shocks" the street. right.

Not one forecast I've read is positive. The market activity today was a classic example of buy on the rumor sell on the news. The smart ones made money, the dumb ones didn't. 0.25% reduction isn't going to do jack for our economy. Shit, interest rates are already as low as they've ever been. Everyone and their brother has already refi'd their homes, and taken their vacations. I'm digressing.

To sum, the past three weeks have been, in my opinion, a big sucker's rally. Do the DW charts have a sucker's rally filter? October is the month for funds to unload their dogs and there will be plenty of that. I'm staying out until those that deserve it take their licks and start behaving (i.e., foreign markets).

Good luck to you, nonetheless.

Chuck
