"I remember when I bought my first computer, a Packard Bell 80286, think it cost about $2,000 - $2,500, with 40 MB hard drive and DOS, back in 1991! "

They seen you coming.

I bought my first computer in Sept. 91. It was a 386 33 mz w/ 4mb ram 120mhz HD 15" moniter, and a few other amenity's. I can't remember them now.

To say the least, it wasn't a PB. It is still at work at the office.

The PC I have now is a 166 mhz pentium w/1.7ghz HD, 16 mhz ram, 17" moniter, plus other amenity's, which I purchased approximately 2 1/2 years ago for 2548+ tax

The point is SHOP SHOP SHOP UNTIL YOU DROP<VBG>, then NEGOTIATE like a person possesed(PERSON, none gender specific)

The point that I'm attempting to mske, is never pay what someone is asking. Always make an offer. If they reject that offer. Go to several other places, and continue making offers. You will eventually get a taker, even if you have to return to the same place's several times to compare

CB, Don't confuse sales with profits. There is no reason to suspect this stuff will sell if it is ever priced high enough to afford anyone a profit margin. MB
