Intel will have a bang up quarter fer sure.

I suspect they will close to 85-88 and beat the

revised 80 cent estimates.

The big question is AMD.

If they ramp up 380/400 as well as they have ramped

350's then Intel could have a tougher time in Q4.

After earnings I am thinking of shorting Intel if they hit 90's.

Regards,

Kash.

John,

Re: 20 point drop

This is the exact same prediction I made to Gene in an off-line message....and you're right, it would be deserved.

John, >>>If INTC misses their pre announcement the stock will eat 20 points and deserve
it...<<<

Let's see, if I eat too much, I can gain 20 pounds. Look for Intel to gain 20 pounds (English) when they beat $.78 - $.79 estimates for 3Q. There will be flight to quality (Intel current stock relative strength, strong fundamentals) as a lot of the rest of "quality" companies' results are turning into doo doo right now. The only thing that takes Intel down these days is overall market disaster.

If you told me to identify a single worst stock to short right now, I'd say Intel.
