Hello Mel,

"Contrarian Investing" can mean many different things.... Buying a stock when it's out of favor, buying stocks when the market is going down, or buying stocks in an industry group when the group is out of favor.... I would rather buy a stock that has a strong chart and ride that baby as far as it will carry me....

The advantage we have over other people is the charts... They are road-maps to where price has been, is at, and "MAY GO". Please notice that I say may go because No one knows where a stock will go until it gets there BUT, we can make some very good educated guesses based on TA....

An example of this is LU.... I love the company and believe it will go up in the future. I DO NOT love the chart so right now I will not buy it... LU was starting to make a move up BUT just could not break through it's Regression Channel. A great case of some but not all.... That's why we develop systems that contain many tools and insist that ALL of the tools say the same thing....
