Do you also agree, that if MSFT crashes it takes down the S&P in a greater amount , causing serious damage in the derivatives market beyond options , and also this can reach far beyond MSFT investors. ? Would you agree that the dynamics now in effect , can cause the price of one stock as big as MSFT , to not just dictate the psychology of the market, or to have others move in sympathy as they say, but can actually FORCE a sell off of other stocks.? belive me it can. ---------------- Would you agree that because of lack of regulation and the stupidity of people like GreenSpam , McGraw Hill, and others that the price of Super Cap type stocks are now commingled in such a fashion, that none of them can stand or fall on their own merits with out actually "forcing" an effect on the entire market ? I maintain that this system has degenerated to the extent that Fundamental analyze based on the merits of a company is rendered almost useless. I also maintain that with the newer and seldom talked about but often highly leveraged futures market based on indexes that older models of well tested TA can now be rendered to no more than voodoo. I maintain that such a commingling of values renders this system to in effect create a type of communism that goes beyond any thing Marx had in mind. I maintain that this form of communism ( and make no mistake that's it not communism ) was brought on by no others than the short sighted right wing who claim to oppose communism. This is their baby, and it's communistic to the hilt, and they made it that, way !! ----------------------- It reminds me of Barry Goldwater, the John Bricher , damm all the commies, and homo sexuals; who later found out he had a homo sexual son. Well time to let the Russians know we out did them when it came to communism, and the republican party will have a hard time dodgeing this, as they left their finger prints all over it while catering to the Whims of the Wall Street Lobby. It's almost funny how in their greed they built a Frankenstein of the same sort they so long lived in fear of, only they made it bigger than even Marx could have imagined. ---------------------------- We can all sleep nicely at night now knowing we are safely in the Hands of MSFT and her P/E 67.59 is the standard we must live or die by, she is now the key stock to our future fortunes, or final dimise. Let us beg the DOJ not to cause her any undo stress least they run the risk of crashing the whole Gwad dog market <G> Lets us put up a picture of Bill Gates and all sing hail to the Chief, I don't see why we don't just out law UNIX and sun and all them other types..after all if MSFT now falters we won't be able to afford to buy computers any way. How did we get here with all the right wing republican guard supposed to be protecting us from communism. This has to be the irony of the ages. I ought to be able to get a passel of jokes out this some how. Jim PS If you think this is far fetched. well maybe I stretched it a little to make a point, but it's more true than not. If you study the Indexers, and Futures Arbitrage and you don't see them creating a huge communism in the market then your not looking, as even a blind man could see it if he looked.
