Ok, I see your point, but you still have not answered the key question; what is MU's burn rate now and after the TI deal and how long can it survive at current DRAM prices? I'm all ears for all who have an answer.

P.S I took back my first post that you responded to and put it in its right thread, Cendant's.

skeeter and all---

can we settle this? depeciation isnt an asset...it isnt a liability. its an expense. the only way it has any benefits is if you use it to offset profits and pay less in taxes.

counting one billion in depreciation doesnt do anything. it doesnt make you profitable if you are already losing money on a cash basis. it just makes your losses bigger.

to me, this is the only salient point...is the company losing money in operations? yes.

thats it.

good luck to all,
trey
