Monty, I looked at OMPT in the low 20's, but I shorted PTEL instead, PTEL went down pretty nice, but OMPT dropped like a brick in a pond. PTEL is now back up to mid teens, and will lose $8 / share this year, if all goes well. Their losses are well in excess of their revenues. If PTEL goes up much more, I may revisit it.

As for OMPT, I would like to see it come up a bit before thinking about shorting it. These cell phone co's are great, because the cream of the customers has long since been skimmed, and for new sign-ups they are now scraping for the least desirable customers who only want the phones for emergencies, and select the cheapest plans. Meanwhile, they still are nowhere near break-even.

Where I live, OMPT keeps blitzing the radio airwaves with ads, but they have to give away sunglasses and other things to get subscribers.
