The same reason people won't be selling MU until the BK hits. Everyone knows they are losing money too. Never under estimate the stupidity of the average investor. <g>

Probably due to the herd mentality. (this is not intended to upset, insult, or offend anyone) Mass psychology is the likely phenomenon. I think when the dust finally settles, there'll be great buys abound.
