wallstreeter,

While I am studying these teachings in the Qu'ran, I figured I would post the verses that you mentioned:

Marriage of multiple wives:

Translation: Shakir
an-Nisa' 4:3
And if you fear that you cannot act equitably towards orphans, then marry such women as seem good to you, two and three and four; but if you fear that you will not do justice (between them), then (marry) only one or what your right hands possess; this is more proper, that you may not deviate from the right course.

Not believing in Allah:

Translation: Shakir
al-Anfal 8:39
And fight with them until there is no more persecution and religion should be only for Allah; but if they desist, then surely Allah sees what they do.

Steve

Hey raymond why did mohammad kill so many people that didnt believe in his religion. They were forced to convert or else they would be killed.

This is untrue WallStreeter. It is totally false. In the Qur'an, we are told:

"There shall be no compulsion in religion."

Muhammad (Pbuh) did not kill people that did not believe in his religion. In fact, after all the deaths of thousands of Muslims, when Muhammad (Pbuh) finally returned to Makkah after being driven out, all people who had persecuted the Muslim up until that time were forgiven.

Peace be unto you,
Norris
