Actually I dont know much about stops. LAtely DELL has been trading in a fairly narrow range: but it used to go up and down considerably in a day and there's no point being stopped out when it's just going back up again. How far under the stock price do you put your stops? And is it enough to just be looking at the price in the morning and the last half hour of the market? And is that called a "stop loss" in the brokerage jargon?
