Thanks for directing my attention to the article on Carl Berg. I now have a better feeling just where he fits into Silicon Valley. In terms of insider buying, however, he comes closer to being a Martian right off some UFO than a technology expert. Mr. Berg most likely considers an electron a point charge, rather than a probability density spatial distribution function. I take comfort in the fact he's a good businessman, since he doesn't even seem to own and use a PC.

Mr. Berg also seems to have sufficient coin to keep a roof over his head and food on the table even if Silicon Valley slides into the ocean along the San Andreas fault line: he sure doesn't have to trade daily. My one valid concern is just what intimate knowledge he trades on to intelligently direct IDTI. Frankly, T J Rodger's famed nun might have had the same technological smarts. Well, knowledge is supposed to arm one with the truth, and I now understand why I dollar averaged down as the bottom fell out from IDTI's stock price. Pretty grim. Let's hope the old adage, "No amount of planning ever beat dumb luck," proves true. Regards, Sam
P.S. Do you have any background information on President Clinton?

I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT TECHNOLOGY," barks Silicon Valley real estate developer Carl Berg.

That about says it all, no wonder IDT is where it's at today.

Berg has made a killing.

No doubt, while I've lost a small fortune...
