By the way IanBruce. Tell me again you connection to
MHD drive - I thought you were a designer (liberal arts
major) involved in Worldboard.

Art director (this comes as a big shock to me too). My involvement in WorldBoard is as display/interface engineer. We're using a modification of my 20µ microoptical array system for augmented reality applications. Several prototypes of this have already been built by United Technologies in Cambridge, MA. If you're interested, I'll be happy to send you some background.

The nanolaser config is a direct-view immersive design with a predicted resolution that goes well beyond human thresholds. Albany is responsible for designing fabrication processes for non-linear substrates -- an important element of the display.

I missed the part about you being a marine engineer
or naval architect...

We're moving plasmas not water. Unlike Japan's MHDP test bed, the Yamoto, it's not designed for marine propulsion -- rather motor vehicles over prepared road surfaces. This is in a research stage (prior to filing), and I'm enjoined from discussing this subject in any detail. Ask me again when the weather gets a little cooler.

...or perhaps your part was to make the engine room
look cute - God knows they need it...

Touché! You wound me, sir! Although, I'm more than up to the challenge. =)
