What a simply amazing, astute statement from a rummy bureaucrat:

"In prepared remarks before taking questions, Nonaka said: ''The shares of certain financial institutions have been bombarded
with selling. I think this is a serious development.'' "

He could have prepared that statement over 5 years ago! Short
selling is not the problem, Nonaka-san, it's the balance sheets
stupid! Wet sidewalks do not cause rain, even in Japan!
