I remain optimistic as well, long-term. I think there is a possibility that Steven may be right that there may be more downside left, perhaps substantially so. Although I have taken a severe beatings on some issues (oil services, for example), I am not "locking in my losses" and have no plans for doing so. I do not need the cash, I think the companies have solid fundamentals and will eventually recover (may take years). Clearly the reality is sinking in that 30%+ returns year after year are not likely to be sustained. Whether this means we're going to slide into global recession - unfortunately we will not know until we are there. Rouhana has stated several times before that the impact of P-MP should not be underestimated. If nothing else, it should be exciting to see that get rolled out over the coming months.

gabor--the weak sisters may be the folks who bought at 18-20, saw a chance to take profits while they can..???
