It's great to see that after two years it has become a formal not-for-profit organization.<< Remember the beginnings well. At the time of your original announcements back in '96, I was holding debates on the Compuserve Telecommunications Forum. Man! Did I ever take some heat there! One thread in particular titled IP Phone went on for over a year, crossing time zones when Tom Evslin made his odyssey journey from Microsoft, to ATT, and then eventually to forming ITXC. I'm still wearing some of the scars and medals from those battles, and even though my real role in life recently has had more to do with the financials surrounding ultra-high capacity SONET applications, I continue to get emails from both sides of those earlier debates concerning the eventual outcome of this war, as it used to be characterized, before the crossovers came out of the woodwork, and the converts fell into line.
