LG; There are some similarities, but the market cap size, and the
amount of index funds, & arbitrage program trading all now exceed any thing 87 had to offer. In spite of the similarities I think we are
looking at another breed of horse.

And lets don't forget that at
no time in history have we had the sheer mass of mutual funds
we now have. While some regulations were changed after 87 to protect from a similar melt down , these changes were nominal,
and the sheer number of the mutual funds to ratio of stocks
has increased at such a rate that those nominal changes are
defeated by the pure mass.

The more I look at this can of worms the more I hate to take
the lid off. Where in the hell were all our bright Nobel prize
winners hiding while this situation evolved.
Give me some time to out line it, but mean while if I ever have
some SOB get in my face about the evils of some foreign communism
I will try to kick him right in the teeth, as he is likely the same
SOB who created this breed of market communism we are now forced
to live with right here in our own back yard. The type of communism
the Russians had may have been missguided and offered no long
term solutions to making progress, but the type we have invented
is as insidious as any type of hidden cancer, and we can't
shake our finger at Marx or any one else, the fault came from
our own excesses and lack of oversight.

In as much as my investigation is on going I'll try to refrain
from pointing my finger at the chief suspects until I make the
case. But I can't help but say so far this morning both the
G.S. hippy who showed up on CNBC in his monkey suite ,
and A.Gs speech sound like total prefabricate bull s*ht.
