Leap's Mexican carrier made its final payment for licenses without asking for extension. Mexico extended license fee payment 180 days for several other companies that requested extension due to financial drain in markets.

"A source at Pegaso Telecomunicaciones, in which Qualcomm Inc. <QCOM.O> and Grupo Televisa <TLVISACPO.MX> <TV.N> participate, said it had also made the final payment but did not give the amount." --excerpted from Reuters.

This bodes well. Sounds like Pegaso is well funded and ready to build its infrastructure and get online to beat the competition to market.
