All: OT "bull-poopy"
The wife and I just returned from Maui where a friend was using his ericy phone and complaining about the "scratchy" reception. My wife
gave him her Q-phone. Crystal clear! I think Primeco is the carrier.
We also called San Diego. Just like a land line!
Just read all of the posts. I gotta say "bull-poopy" had me rolling on the floor holding my sides! That was great!
Don't ever sell!
Best

One of the most compelling reasons why LU's buying spree might come sooner rather than later is its shrinking market value seems to get shrunker more each day.

That's ok ( relatively speaking and in this context only ) if its potential candidates are also experiencing proportional shrinkage. It appears that is the case: Nokia, Ericy, Ascend ( which analysts say would command the highest premium of the bunch )---all of their prices are coming down to more attractice acquisition levels---of the 3 ERICY has, imo, been hit the hardest. Could it be the best bargain of all 3?

Putting aside for a moment this conventional and well reasoned wisdom that LU's priority right now is increasing its presence in data over voice, what if they do decide to spring for ERICY because of compelling value? My question is this: would it then be in LU's best ( self )interest to put an end to the Standards issue and proclaim the winner CDMA? Could they win big time with such a move?
