kitkat,

<<"WASHINGTON, Oct 1 (Reuters) - The International Monetary Fund on Thursday warned Russia against printing money to try to revive its economy and said the country needed to improve ties with disgruntled creditors and reform its banking system.">>

This makes me laugh .... the US has flooded the world with its currency for the last 25 years - after Nixon removed gold's connection to the dollar (in "71 I believe) ... this is just the same thing in different clothing .... IMO a little like the pot calling the kettle black .... this whole mess is the result of no gold standard. Governments hate gold because it equates to economic honesty .... can't have that now - can we<G>

WE are in the crapper and sinking quickly .... anybody who thought the US was immune to this process is in for a very rude awakening ... I think I hear the alarms going off now ... better get some good strong coffee ready - going to be a long day!
