In light of NT's growth prediction, NN's 33% growth increase of revenue out to 2004 appears high. Perhaps you could let us know the reasons for the difference in growth predictions.

I wouldn't know other than to take an educated guess. Being focused on ATM, the growth rates for NN would parallel those more than a company that has a wider spectrum of products. Newbridge is a pure play on the technology and NT isn't.

I recall Pat Weber, TXN's former EVP, saying they were growing so fast and moving into new sectors so quickly, they felt as though they were a start-up and not an established company. I get the same feeling with NN. The best of both worlds: the maturity of an established company and the excitement and hyper-growth of a start-up.

Of course in this market none of this seems to matter.

When the sentiment changes, it'll be a buyer's market.
