All: There are many lessons to be learnt in understanding NT's recent fall. Some may even note similar features on our Board. The 3 hr NT Conference was set out with over 2 1/2 hrs devoted to Technical details about emerging Technology etc. Lots of big words like "Marmalade" to confuse. The use of simple JAM like expression was taboo.! Lots of discussion time for technical details was scheduled.

Finance which is the one sought after detail by Analyst was relegated to the end and in that presentation "Forecast Revenue Growth" appeared as something in passing. No discussion time was scheduled and thus no discussions followed.

In the end the only thing that moved NT's stock was not the long technical presentation, exchange & dribble that follows but the reality of the revenue growth for a mature Company.

In brief in the case of mature Companies, the small Investor will do well if he stays focussed on the following.

a: Past Earnings History and projections.
b: Past Revenue History and projections.
c: Past stability of Earnings and Revenue.
d: Breakdown of revenue into principal Technologies and market share
vis a vis Competition.
e: Breakdown of revenue on a global basis and market share vis a vis
Competition.
f: Historical PEG.
