Greenspan 'speak' seems to have quieted the market and a rebound may be underway. This market deterioration was unwarranted to begin with. Hopefully Reuben's 1pm speech should complete the market turnaround. Seemingly ALL tech stocks took a beating inthe last 24 hrs. Should CPQ get above 31 on over 12mil shares prior to 2pm all should be rosey. Michael P.S. Uh, OH ! Greenspan in answer to a crongressperson's questions said that he was surprised that there haven't been more of these hedge funds in trouble, In fact, there will be. ...... This comment about "will be more" is going to haunt the market.
