Long-term the hedge fund hoopla is not over, I have maintained that the multinational banks and financials were fundamental shorts quite some time ago as the stocks flirted with their historical supports, check my old posts. But short-term it should be settling, fund managers had several days to panic and sell, those who did not will wait for some retrace up to sell.

Whether Brazil devalues or not is academic for now, it is the uncertainty that is driving the market down.
