Clearly the task is to cut spending. There is plenty of wasted spending. On the taxes, as soon as they can, yes, cut taxes. Right now even considering a tax cut is a pipe dream.

I don't know enough about their tax struture to know that you are right. I suspect that cutting spending is the much more important issue. But I don't approach the matter with pre-fab ideology.
