Cine Magnetics' DVD Service Company Delivers on Lucent Projects; Customer
Commitments Far Exceed Projections

ARMONK, N.Y. (Oct. 1) BUSINESS WIRE -Oct. 1, 1998--Cine Magnetics
Video & Digital Laboratories Thursday announced that its
newly-established DVD Service Company has completed a series of DVD
projects for Lucent Technologies and has received commitments for DVD
authoring, compression, simulation/testing, and replication for at
least a half dozen feature-length film projects.

According to Bob Orzack, company vice president, the number of digital
compression inquiries and projects that have materialized since the DVD
Service Company was launched about six months ago has far exceeded
projections.

"We have been overwhelmed by the tremendous response we've received
from clients like Lucent," Orzack said. "They and other clients have
validated our concept of managing all details of a DVD project from
authoring, compression, simulation/testing, through mastering,
replication, packaging and distribution."

Cine Magnetics employs its own staff and equipment on digital
compression and authoring projects, also working with DVD partners Zuma
Digital and Crush Digital in New York, and Nimbus Manufacturing in
Virginia.

"Our goal for the DVD Service Company is to take the mystery and
hassles out of the DVD equation, and to provide a total DVD service to
our clients, saving them both time and money. Early results seem to
indicate that we are accomplishing that goal," added Orzack.
