I agree with some of the other comments regarding cash being as safe as it gets (obvious). So called quality high flying stocks like DELL and CSCO may have further to fall. Has anyone thought about hard drive stocks like WDC, QNTM and SEG. They've been flat as a board for a year, building a huge base. Some upgrades have been coming in lately on some of these stocks, especially SEG. I remember when I bought some of these stocks about 3 years ago. Boring as hell for a while, but safe. Then they took off to the moon. Semi cap stocks like AMAT and NVLS seem pretty safe at the current level. Maybe communication stocks, but I don't know much about them.

BTW, I no longer own AMAT but it is good to be back on SI. All of my current stocks don't generate much conversation on SI, so I have been forced to use Yahoo threads (ugggg!).

Good luck to all! Does anyone see a turnaround soon? My crystal ball says no way this year, maybe by spring of 1999?
