I don't understand why some people think that simply because the K7 uses the Alpha bus that it will somehow magically get a supercharged FPU. I don't recall ever hearing about AMD licensing the Alpha's FPU technology or anyone else' FPU technology. Even if Slot-A is vastly superior to Slot-1 (I'm not saying that it is or it is not) I don't see how that could cause any significant increase in FPU performance.

Hey Kash, Re -- I can't wait for the K7 as it looks like a compelling advantage over Intel. Speaking of nonsense. The above stmt highlights your abilities (or the lack of them). You should stick to process related issues and not venture into subjects you do not understand.
