I hope so. Also, the excess of margin calls, thanks for the info. That gives a plausible reason for practically all good tech companies', or all companies' period, stocks being down.

I agree. Rubin said today LA not as bad as it seems and
Canada says we're not going into recession. After this bottom,
stocks should be moving up. Nov.-Jan. should be good months.
Bought some more (i know i shouldn't but couldn't resist) INTC
today in the low 80s. Expecting 90s in Nov.

You might also add collapsing foreign economies, record MF withdrawals, lower earnings reports, huge hedge fund losses, and extremely nervous professional investors.

We might be "on our way" in a day or two (a bit of a bounce) but I think that we should consider the strong possibility that we are in the worst decline in many years.

I hope Intel holds up well, but October is still very young.
