re: when Goldman Sachs pulled out their IPO the bull market was officially buried.

The bull market in big bank stocks is over, at least. The global tidal wave of de-leveraging, which began in Thailand in July 1997, is now coming ashore in Connecticut and New York.

Aki,

You've got it all wrong my friend. Leverage is your friend. Borrow 'til you are touch over 30:1 Debt:Equity and let it loose! Best case you make a fortune, worst case you get bailed out by JPM, MER, CMB, UBS, et. al. (or Buffet gives you $250mm). Boom. It is that easy.
