The wiretaps and high level surveillance occurred on RFK's orders. That's why he got the documentation. Hoover knew the Left would smear him if he hadn't. But facts rarely matter to the Left, documentation or not, they make it up as they smear along. As for your "make-up" allusion, that particular defamation is also something the leftists made up. Historians of repute utterly reject it. As for commie-baiting, RFK is in the Hall of Fame, he needed no prodding from Hoover. RFK and Roy Cohn were the top aides to Senator Joe McCarthy. Joe Sr. was a big McCarthy-backer and McCarthy's non-intervention in 1952 is credited with electing JFK to the Senate. JFK barely won over Lodge. I guess we should blame Senator McCarthy for a President Kennedy as much as the massive vote fraud in 1960. btw, since you obviously love posthumous defamation, read the new RFK biography. It details how as AG RFK stole $$$ and drugs (which he used) from crime scenes and had his way with female suspects sexually. It also reports via Gore Vidal that RFK had homosexual lovers. Gee, and before that we only knew that he killed Marilyn Monroe to shut her up. Clinton yearns for those good old days!
