David,

Yup..agree. Will saunter over to HDIE and check it out again. Have done my research on Healthdyne and agree looks promising but just not enough promising for the returns I am seeking. May buy some for core portfolio anyway as I need to diversify some.

Thanks..

Jane Jam

Post from RNTK thread on Raging Bull today:

JR, every day that goes by without a press release is a de facto confirmation that the prospects for a deal with TX are still in place. They are obligated to announce immediately if the deal falls through.

My perception of why the stock is drifting so low is divided into three parts:

1) There are those (including yours truly) who have already maxed out their spec money allocation in RNTK and can't afford (wisely) to bet a larger share of the farm on a single spec issue.

2) There are those who are waiting patiently to get in when a pre-announcement (leak-driven) move shows up clearly. This may not happen here as I believe both RNTK and TX have lids clamped on very tight inside their organizations.

3) There are those who are waiting patiently to get in when the deal is announced, being willing to give up an initial jump in order to assure themselves they've gotten into a real thing instead of a hoped-for thing.

Thus.....little/no buying pressure.....and an overall bad market to boot.

That's MHO, for what it's worth.

Doop III.......looking forward to Oct 7...
(BTW, they cannot initially announce the deal as part of a presentation at the meeting. There are proper procedures for such releases and a closed technical presentation is not one of them.)(eom)
