Joe,, You know that little thing about fidelity,,, Well I saw the same sort of stuff on one of our bank stocks today...It was off about 2 bucks, but that was from a jazzed up close the night before of about 1/2 a buck.. Anyway as the market tumbled suddenly bids started showing up, and no matter how much came in it was bought without the price declining any further.. The most notable thing about it was the broker topping his own bid when the stock was pouring in.. This is scary in the fact that this could be construed as a desperation move IMHO... sort of like , if we don't hold it here we are all F%$*&ed..
