PT I rec'd several private messages concerning my statement about the Roth IRA's so I felt I should respond here as it seems many may have already converted to a Roth. Here was my response to the private messages:

Was not at my office but just called to get the reg for you. It is PROPOSED REG 1.408A-5. Notice the "proposed" but I am sure it will be done and in fact may be as we speak. This came through my tax service last week.

I suggest anyone concerned keep abreast of this situation if they want to reverse the transfer because sometimes this type reg will carry time constraints. I will keep an eye on it and try to post the FINAL Reg. when available.

I was referring to regular Roth IRA contributions (i.e. $2000/year) from the upper-middle-class crowd. Unlike rollovers, these will represent a new source of liquidity for the stock market.
