Nothing like conspiracy theory to get you fired up! You thrive on this stuff.

I don't think any one group on firm controls the internet stocks but, regardless, who cares anyway? You play these stocks the same way they to - by the numbers. The only way to not get crushed by them, that is supposing they or some other sinister force controls the stocks, is to use the same tools that they do and not get caught in the short-sellers squeeze game. I have never, nor do I intend to start, sold a share of Amazon, YHOO, XCIT or other internet stock short. I play with the calls and puts only when the stock reaches extremes and senitment and the "hype factor" matches those extremes. I don't realy care WHO is behind the moves as long as the moves occur to the extremes they have in the past. There is always the chance I will fail miserably and the stock will move way beyond the point I can protect myself. So far that hasn't happened with Amazoninski.com

If it is true that ALL OF THIS GOD DAMNED
RUNUP SINCE DAY ONE was caused by him manipulating the markets with pyramid-scheme type

Otherchap,
Chill out!
Are you saying it is illegal or shady for Vinik to buy stocks? If he wants to pay top dollar for AMZN, YHOO etc.. why not?
After all, is he not 'enriching' the shareholders?
It's you 'shorts' who want to impoverish the shareholders that seem shady to me! :-))
