Ibexx, I'm not sure I completely agree with that. We were saying that months ago about Asia, then Russia reared it's ugly head, now we have Brazil, and LTCM. Market tanks on a rate cut (already factored in, I know) but not even a relief rally. I'm not willing to say we're out of the woods until the market either tests the old Aug. low and bounces back hard or breaks through the 200 DMA currently around 8600 on the DOW. Unless we see some very nice earnings surprises (not a likely scenario, imo) it would appear to me that we are going to be in a range with a downward bias. bp
