So far, not many indications of further collapse tomorrow. But equities remain so absurdly overvalued that there is bound to be a bear market.

Oh my. I forgot to watch Bill Fleckenstein on CNN this afternoon.

I wish I could locate something that would tell me exactly how many equity mutual funds there are in the United States.

The WSJ pull-out section today on mutual funds lists something over 1,800, of which it appears to me that maybe 1,000 are stock funds. But many of those are foreign funds.

In any case, as best I can tell, whether you are talking 1,800, or 1,000, or 600, Prudent Bear had the best return of any fund for the last three months.

Thank goodness Tice just stuck to his method and stuck to his positions. I am hoping for a lot more in the next six weeks.
