If I get the DirectPC service, I will keep you posted as to how it works out.

Keep us ALL posted, please. :-)

I looked into DirectPC, but was discouraged by some of the comments I read from others. Bandwidth is regulated, and you can never know when you are using "too much". Scared me off, but it would be a nice alternative to ISDN if it worked well.

DirecTV/PC is a good alternative for people away from cable service. I have cable here in the US and also get internet cable access which is pretty fast but I am still trying to solve my problem of net access overseas.
