I must admit, the MAxPain number for MU looks pretty close so far. I have puts in MU, simply because there is no money to be made if you stay in DRAMs but if your MaxPain stuff pans out for this I may start taking it a bit more seriously. As you've said, can't use it for DELL right now.

DELL's daily volume is pretty massive compared to most other stocks. How does its cash volume comapred to options outstanding compare to other stocks you follow with your analysis? Is that a clue?

The DELL Oct'98 Max-Pain Point&#153 is $60, DELL closed at $62 11/16.

With two weeks to go till Oct'98 open interest expiration, I updated the Max-Pain&#153 option analysis graphs based on Friday's CBOE (10/02/98) open interest strike prices and volume.

With Dell, however, it is important to read the note that this post responds to. Several significant observations relative to DELL are contained in it.
