LOL - ugly depends on which side of the cash register you're standing on! 6 years ago a COBOL programmer was scuttling to keep employed. A guy told me yesterday he'd kill for a somebody who even had training in IMS, which is heirarchical, like 15 years out of vogue. If it makes you feel better, the guys that are gonna get killed in y2k are just as screwed up on their other systems efforts. The permanent employment act for consultants is still in place. Pass me the slide rule.
