JT, Your advice sounds good, especially after such an ugly day. I definitely jumped in too soon today, and now regret it. The futures are ticking up as I write this:

9:15:08 PM S&P 500 DEC98 1002.60 +780, NSDQ100 DEC98 1300.00A +975
9:14:51 PM S&P 500 DEC98 1001.60 +680, NSDQ100 DEC98 1300.00A +975

Asia is not good:
Nikkei:
9:17PM 13099.08, Chg -98.04 (-0.74%), Rng 12973.24 - 13183.94

Taiwan:
9:15PM 6530.97, Chg -171.09 (-2.55%), Rng 6512.85 - 6537.98

I expect some follow through downside soon after the amount of damage that was done today.

Steve

Looked at all stocks in my portfolio. If I look at each holding and factor in what the worth would be if all holdings sold at 90% of their highs:

Answer--- 40% correction.

Thank goodness I did not buy most of these holdings at their highs, but the impact of this correction is illustrated.

I think my portfolio has reached its bottom.
