Come out to Orange County, you could find yourself a hundred Mercedes ragtops to choose from. Sure you wouldn't prefer something more exotic, like a Humm-V, or Hummer, or whatever the hell they call those things? I have six customers with them, they have started their own militia.

Ish,

I am a tad enamored of the Kaiser Darrin, although I can't tell you exactly why. A friend in the South Bay had one sitting in his garage, but it needed restoration. He kept saying he was going to get too it--even had his wife's blessings--but I don't think he ever did. I think it may be because he was forever tinkering with his white (sorry) 1967 XR-7, which he bought when it was new. Not too many of those folk around anymore.

I used to be something of a gear head, at least with regard to the old Cougars, but not too much now. Anymore, the Cougar means little more to me than transportation. When I am out and about with it, often people will come up to me and ask me if I want to sell it. Sometimes when I am at friends' houses, strangers will actually come to the door to ask if it is for sale. One of these days, it probably will be.
