Hi Buddy .....We better thanks Luc for opening a private thread :-)]] Below is a pretty good rundown ....and have a good weekend.....we are forecasting 2 feet of snow in the mountains over the weekend.....Put on my Snowtires today and my skis are in for tuneup. Subject: Update from Top Cat... Friday, 2 Oct l998 LeRoy, My computer at home is sick and I have been unable to get everything done I would like to.... the markets are getting hammered, the DOW down another 200 plus points today totalling over 5% in the last two trading days... TSE not any better... MDRE... near the close, price at $0.16 on 441,000 shares... For the record, over of the last four months there have been many differing opinions (and many negative) about the ability of MDRE to get approval for trading in the US.... I think approval of their US listing dispells many of those opinions... now that this has been accomplished, the cat and mouse game is about to begin... and as I have said many times before, this is not going to be a quick run, the US Market Makers are far more experienced than that..!!!! the first part of the game starts with promotion as it is with every stock - PROMOTION is #1 cause for a stock price to go up... I believe that MDRE has put and continues to put a good promotion plan together... Let me review, 1) Meyerson is their financial banker and US Market Maker (this will create exposure and control), 2) Guiderra is their US PR firm (this will create exposure), 3) negotiations for other US Market Makers to move into the stock after the 30 day trading period are in progress, 4) the US OTC:BB market is hundreds of times larger than the Canadian OTC:BB market (massive exposure potential in the long-term), 5) potentially numerous press release which should create cycle of buying and exposure (for example, 1st year financials (my estimate based on first three published QTR's we are looking at conservatively over 1 million in revenues and profits in excess of $300,000), 1st quarter earning (already complete), Chelation (both in Anguilla and potential acquisition in Vancouver and more in the US), possible other products MDRE will be licencing, expansion at the Anguilla resort, and others).... Conclusion: no one can control the buying and selling, but what I suspect is about to happen is that the US MM's are looking at this stock and saying, "why give the Canadian MM and investors an easy out by raising the price, instead let's shake the tree here over the next several weeks and draw out all the stock at cheap prices.." and judging by the price pull-back yesterday, that is exactly what is happening... there are trading requirements to be met during the 30-day trial period before full electronic listing and before other MM's can join in so why raise the price just yet... I predict that 95% of the people that own the stock in Canada will be out of the play in the next 30 days... the anxiety everyone is experiencing is "ANOTHER 30 days PLUS...", my response is, "that is the way the cat and mouse game is played..."... only those that believe and can sustain the pressure will be around for the next level of trading... By the comments I have been receiving and reading, I am lead me to believe that there are many inexperienced penny stock players in MDRE (even possibly their first purchase in their life)... this play has revenues (in the black), good potential in terms of promotion (both short and long-term), so... either sell and move on or accept the game that is about to begin... the US MM's need to draw out the stock from the Canadian MM's and this will take time... and it will be frustrating, especially for those who haven't been through it before... GOOD LUCK.... And by the way, I have been having computer problems, thus unable to post the last couple of days... and NO... I haven't sold a share yet... much too early in the play to consider that... so for those of you that think I blew off my shares in the 2.8 million share day two days ago, think again... I am looking for a lot more than 3 or 4 pennies on this one...
