NT was stable enough...we rarely experienced NT-related downtime. Linux is proving to be faster and will provide greater capacity per server. But the primary reason was so that we could be compatible with the rest of the Go2Net servers. It wasn't fun supporting multiple operating systems. Some of the technologies are easier to integrate across sites if the operating system is the same. Plus the tech people here at Go2Net are some of the best...and their expertise is in Unix.
