Where will I go?

When the clouds in the sky,
stop floating on by,
Where will I go?
When the green of the land,
stops needing man's hand,
Where will I go?
When all the rivers that flow,
start running too low,
Where will I go?
When the wind moving the trees,
stands still in a freeze,
Where will I go?
When a bird no longer sings,
and stops flapping it's wings,
Where will I go?
When the waves no longer break,
and the shore hasn't a lake,
Where will I go?
When the stars no longer shine,
and you're no longer mine,
Where will I go?
When time no longer heals,
and a heart no longer feels,
Where will I go?
When the Earth becomes no more,
as what it was before,
Where will I go?

Ah memories, nothing like a little despair to start the day!! Which is sadder
that one or the one in post 1637?

The poem (love someone)
reminds me (content, not words) of the Linda Ronstadt song a bit....

Long, Long Time,

time washes clean, loves wounds unseen...that's what someone told me
but i don't know what it means....

i wait for the day, you go away...knowing that you warned me of the price
i had to pay...

living in the memory of a love that never was...'cause i've done everything
i know to try and make you mine...and i think i'm gonna love you...for
a long, long time...
