For a minute there I thought he was talking about the RNTK shareholders.

Flataxman, I thought I'd be reading about the Serbian slaughter, but its only animals. There are better places to put your passions.

FTM....

Interesting to see the Sea Shepherd reference. I am a supporter of this very important and generous activism. Dolphin Research Center and its famous Dolphin Lab, where I was in a student program during the eighties, is also a strong supporter of this organization which has worked very hard to protect dolphins from the slaughter that occurs because they inhabit a part of our earth where others seek profit, and, believe it or not often sport, without ethical conscience.

Once, I was part of a dolphin rescue effort, as a student and observer, where a young Atlantic bottlenose dolphin riddled with bullet holes was brought into medical care.

We are all One, whether or not we choose to admit it and live by it. Organizations like Sea Shepherd often perform the functions that the rest of the world cannot or will not take on, and the world is better for it. The least we can do is give them our willingness to listen and learn, if not a small portion of our own time, or a little bit of the success and privilege which we have come to enjoy.
