Ish, I think the Humvees were pressed into service for desert sands. But yes, the Santa Ana Canyon in winter is akin to a river bottom, as is much of California. A few days back, on the Classic Cougar Listserv, one guy was telling us someone wanted to trade their ragtop Jag for his Cougar across the board. Everyone on the list who responded admonished him that he should pass on that deal. Personally, I've never known anyone who owned a Jag and didn't curse the day it came into their life. Holly
